In recent years, there has been a growing interest in understanding the social impact of architecture – a focus that has become essential for evaluating the rigor of design research and practice. How does design produce social value? How can we assess its impact and ensure long-term sustainability?
This seminar features two presentations that tackle these issues through a series of local case studies. Utilizing interdisciplinary approaches, the speakers will discuss how architecture and urban design contribute to fostering positive social environments and how their impact can be made explicit.
