We are thrilled to share that šš«šØšŸ. šŒšØ šŠššš« š‡š¢š¦ has been honoured Age-Friendly Community Champion at the Smart Ageing Award 2025, hosted by the Golden Age Foundation. In addition, his social enterprise, Happy Ageing Lab, received the Golden Age Marketing Strategy Award (SME) for its outstanding contributions to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly through innovative, user-centered solutions.


Founded in 2021 at the CUHK School of Architecture with funding from CUHK-SKPF, Happy Ageing Lab is committed to transforming the design and management of built environments to promote healthy ageing. Its interdisciplinary team—comprising architects, urban planners, social workers, and healthcare professionals—adopts a participatory, user-centered approach to develop innovative housing and neighborhood solutions. These efforts address the challenges of Hong Kong’s rapidly ageing population by fostering inclusive, supportive, and vibrant communities for all ages.

The Smart Ageing Award 2025, organised by the Golden Age Foundation, recognises leaders driving innovation in elderly care, sustainability, and cross-sector collaboration. The award promotes smart ageing across Asia by encouraging professionals and entrepreneurs to develop solutions that shape a better future for ageing societies.
