Following both a jury selection and public voting process scrutinizing entries from over 100 countries, the project, led by principal investigator Prof. Kristof Crolla , was selected as Jury Winner in the ‘Plus Categories | Details: Architecture + Wood’. It additionally received the 'Popular Choice Award, Plus Categories | Concepts: Architecture + Engineering', became a finalist in 'Plus Categories | Concepts: Architecture + Sustainability' and received a special mention in the 'Typology Categories | Cultural: Pavilions. A red-carpet event was hosted at the Highline Stages in New York City on 12 May to celebrate the occasion.
