Zhenfei Wang graduated from Berlage Institute in Rotterdam with an Advanced Master’s Degree in architecture in 2007. He co-founded HHDFUN in Beijing with Luming Wang in 2008.

He is interested in incorporating various disciplines such as mathematics, geometry, computer algorithm, etc., into architecture to produce designs distinguished from the conventional ones. His research also focuses on constructing complex structures within the low technology environment.

He is the co-founder of the Digital Architecture Design Association (2013-). and the committee member of the Chinese Digital Fabrication Design Association (2017-2020).

He has lectured and presented widely. In 2017, he was invited as a keynote speaker at the “Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA).

His work “Xijingyu Village” was presented at China’s National Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale 2020.
