This lecture showcases the use of parametric modelling, gaming engines and multi-sensory simulations in the field of architecture.

About the speaker

Dr. Anastasia Globa is an Associate Head of Research Education and Senior Lecturer in Computational Design and Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Sydney. Her work sits at the intersection of architecture, technology, and sustainability, with core research interests in algorithmic design, interactive systems, and multi-sensory simulations.


She leads pioneering projects utilizing Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) for design exploration, data visualisation, and pre-occupancy simulation. Her expertise encompasses advanced computational analysis, real-time interactive applications, and the development of digital-physical prototypes.
