The Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA) has been awarded the design research project ' ZCB Bamboo Pavilion ' by Prof. Kristof Crolla at three Global Design Awards (GDA) . The judging panel not only gave the project the ‘Gold Award’ in the Hospitality & Entertainment Space category but also the ‘Judge’s Choice Award’ and the ‘Hong Kong Best’ award.

HKDA GDA has been one of the most established multi-disciplinary design competitions in the Asia-Pacific region organized by HKDA since 1975. It is not simply a design competition to honour global design excellence but also acts as an engine to energise a series of events as a yearlong campaign that aims to promote Hong Kong designs internationally and to enhance Hong Kong as one of the major creative hubs in Asia-Pacific.
