Four A&D Trophy Awards were granted to student and faculty projects from the CUHK School of Architecture.


2016 Alumna Vicki Ma Ka Ki received both the ‘Student/Architecture Best of Category’ award and the ‘Students / Overall – joint winners’ award for her thesis project ‘The Hydrological League: Rejuvenation of A Forgotten Realm Through Resilient Living’.


Prof. Sarah Kwok Yan Lee and Prof. Yutaka Yano of architecture practice Sky-Yutaka received the ‘Best Landscaping’ award for their Hong Kong project ‘ The Eight Gates Pavilion ’.


Design research project ZCB Bamboo Pavilion ’ by Prof. Kristof Crolla (Principal Investigator) and Prof. Adam Fingrut (Co-Investigator) has been awarded the ‘Best of Category’ award in the category ‘Architecture (Professional) – Green or Sustainable Build’.


The A&D Trophy Awards (previously The Perspective Awards) were created in 2004 to celebrate excellence in architecture, interior design and product design across Asia-Pacific and beyond, with a panel of expert local and international judges ensuring that only genuinely exceptional work is rewarded.
