Led by Professor Thomas Chung, “Project Plum Grove” formulated restoration proposals for revitalising the 400-year-old Hakka village of Mui Tsz Lam. Three built heritages (Old House, Auxiliary Block, Mural House) in the village were targeted. Through collaboration with villagers and the general public, the project team hopes to regenerate a place by reconnecting its people. It also acts as a feasibility study for comprehensive village-wide restoration work.
