In recent years, the architectural discipline has increasingly engaged with the concepts of ecology, nature, and sustainability to address impending resource depletion and environmental change. How has the shift toward “ecological thinking” transformed our relationship with the built and natural environments, and how has it reshaped conventional design and material practices?
This seminar will bring together scholars and professionals to discuss emerging approaches to environmental design and the urgent need for new conceptual frameworks in future research and practice within the context of the climate crisis.
