綠色和可持續性建築設計 正成為建築師﹑工程師﹑ 各政府部門和房地產發展商 日益關注的問題。 綠色建築不僅僅低能低耗﹐ 同時也能提供一個自然舒適的環境。 在過去幾年﹐香港中文大學建築學院 一直為建築行業的從業人員和政府機關人員 提供一系列有關可持續性設計的 短期課程﹑公開講座和工作坊。 然而﹐隨著相關從業人員對全面系統 的了解該學科的需求越來越高﹐ 中大建築學院決定開設 可持續與環境設計碩士課程﹐ 以期培養這方面的專業人員。 Professor Edward Ng MSc Programme Director

WELCOME Green and Sustainable design is increasingly a major concern of architects, engineers, government and developers. Climatic responsive architecture not only requires less energy and fewer resources to run, but they also provide a more natural and comfortable environment for its occupants. Recently, the School of Architecture has offered lectures, seminars and workshops to professionals of the building industry and government agencies. It is reckoned that there is a latent demand for structured programmes. The School intends to build on its expertise in Sustainable and Environmental Design by offering new MSc programmes.
