Malie Project

The Need

Currently, over 220 local villagers have to cross a 20 meters wide river to grow crops and access the outside world. Locals can still rely on stepping stones when the water is low, but when the flood comes, this access is entirely blocked. The blockage will last for 4-5 months a year. Worse still, a villager was washed away by floodwater last year.

Baiyun Project

The Need

Locals usually use a stone-made pathway. However, it is covered by floodwater during rainy season and brings much troubles to locals. Especially, when the school kids from Xinping Village and Kangrong Village go to the central primary school located at Baiyun Village, the path is blocked. As quite a lot of local resources and money were channeled to village rebuild, external support for bridge building is badly needed.
