Baiyun Project

According to the village head and also an experienced bridge builder, Mr. Li, he has built 8 stone arch bridges for the villages. Some of them have been used for more than 20 years. Better still, they are all in good conditions even after the 512 quake. The Foundation has provided funding to local village for the procurement of bridge construction materials, and mobilized university students from the field of bridge architecture to facilitate the locals to build a new arch bridge. In the meantime, they will learn and document this traditional bridge building technique.
