Site Background
Malie Township is located in the remote mountainous area of Hanyuan County, one of the most seriously affected County during the 512 quake calamity.

Project Team
A Wu Zhi Qiao volunteer team stationed at Hanyuan through the Communist Youth League of China, teacher and student team from Wuhan University of Technology, Xian Jiaotong University (XJTU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

Site Background
Hanyuan County is badly affected during the 512 quake calamity and Houyu Town is also one of the most seriously affected Township. Mazhuang River is located at the junction of Xinping Village, Kangrong and Baiyun Village and surrounded by mountains. There are 250 households in Baiyun Village. Villagers are mostly Han people.
